Noteworthy KeyShot 9.0 Bug Fixes

  • Fixed crash caused by deleting an animation associated with an XR.
  • Fixed crash caused by Color preview of material nodes in the Material Graph.
  • Fixed crash when applying background image for HDRI.
  • Fixed crash when trying to preview a KeyShotXR in the Render dialog.
  • Fixed crash caused by opening scenes from the Welcome Window by double-click (MacOS)
  • Fixed a mismatch between registry path and custom path for the Resource folder on Windows.
  • Fixed a bug where toggling Render mode (interior/product mode) would cause the the memory consumption to increase with each toggle.
  • Installer now sets the correct "Start in" path for KeyShot shortcut on Windows.
  • Fixed a bug where opening files, created with an EDU license, in KeyShot Pro would stall in the initializing process.
  • Fixed a bug where AxF Textures would always be repeated, even if set not to repeat.
  • Fixed a bug where AxF Textures were offset.
  • Fixed a bug where Sub-Material were lost when importing one scene into another scene.
  • Displacement mapping now maintains vertex colors.

  • Fixed a number of bugs with the custom styling for configurations.
  • Adding Model Sets as Parents in the Configuration Wizard no longer un-pauses KeyShot.
  • Fixed a bug in the Scene Tree, where geometry could be dragged to the root level (outside Model Sets).
  • Fixed a bug where KeyShot would freeze when copying to a Model Set.
  • Fixed a bug where the object previews in the Scene Tree would be empty or clipped.
  • It is no longer possible to copy/paste parts into locked groups in the Scene Tree.
  • Improvements to the consistency of renderings done in KeyShot vs. via Network Rendering.
  • Fixed a bug where the active Camera would be switched, when importing a scene with Import Camera enabled.
  • Fixed a bug where importing form Rhino (both direct import and via plugin) would add unexpected surfaces.
  • Alembic files can again be imported in KeyShot installed "for everyone" on windows.
  • KeyShot Cloud inside KeyShot now correctly reflects login state.
  • Fixed a bug with Restore all Warnings in Preferences.
  • Fixed inaccurate gamma-correction on Backplates.
  • KeyShotXR iBook resolution will now match the KeyShot render resolution.
  • Custom loading icon is no longer missing in KeyShotXR output
  • Fixed a bug where Rendering KeyShotXR in Panoramic Camera would move geometry in the scene.
  • fixed a bug where Horizontal increments were calculated incorrectly if "Horizontal Environment Rotation" was enabled.
